The Wardens Matinee Show in Herons

Drawing on over 50 years of collective service as Canadian national park wardens, The Wardens bring the rugged beauty, humour, and heart of the backcountry to the stage. Their songs and stories rise straight from the landscapes they’ve protected—celebrating wilderness, wildlife, and the people who care for both.

With performances spanning western Canada and the U.S. from Alaska to California, The Wardens have earned acclaim for their authentic songwriting and rich musicianship. They’ve shared stages with standout artists such as Blue Rodeo, Pharis & Jason Romero, and Ian Tyson, appeared at Folk Alliance International and Canmore Folk Festival’s main stage, and even played for a royal audience in Edmonton.
